I downloaded a title to my ipod and all went well. Some people have commented that the download process takes too long, but that's dependent on a person's pc. Since I have an ipod, I wouldn't buy another MP3 player so that I could download the titles not compatible with ipod. So it's a tricky situation sometimes for patrons with ipods, but hopefully (for me anyway) more titles for ipod will be arriving.

Yes, we can only hope that soon the most popular MP3 player will be compatible with all these titles. I have an ipod too and I'm tapping my fingers and twiddling my thumbs!
I wish Apple and the publishers would just sort it out already. Meh. And, because I'm cynical, I'm wondering how much more iPod compatible titles will cost...
